Privacy Policy
Your screenshots stay yours.
PostShot does not collect any data. Everything you make stays on your iPhone.
Effective 14 October 2026
What we collect
Nothing. PostShot has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. It does not send your screenshots, posts, text or settings to us or to anyone else.
What stays on your iPhone
- The screenshots you add, and the posts and projects you make.
- Your settings, such as whether you have Pro.
This data is stored only inside the app on your device. Deleting PostShot deletes it.
Photos
When you add screenshots, you pick them with Apple's photo picker. PostShot only sees the images you choose.
When you save a post, PostShot asks for permission to add photos to your library. It can add images, but it can't read your library.
Share extension
When you share a screenshot to PostShot from another app, the image is passed to PostShot on your iPhone. It is not uploaded anywhere.
Purchases
PostShot Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment. We don't receive your name, email or payment details. The app checks your purchase with Apple on your device.
Crash reports
If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports. These help us fix bugs. They don't identify you.
Third parties
PostShot uses no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking services.
Children
PostShot collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. If PostShot ever starts collecting data, this page will say what and why before that version is released.
